Bunga child murder suspect taken to Butabika for mental assessment

The prime suspect in the killing of her two children and injuring three others has been transferred from police custody to Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital over health claims.

Detectives privy to the matter informed this publication that Dorothy Wamwoyo was transferred from Kabalagala Police Station, where she has been detained for three days, to Butabika over mental health claims on Monday.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Racheal Kawala, however, said the suspect was discharged from Mulago Hospital back to the police station.
