Zimbabwean Woman Escapes Botswana Prison
Gaborone- Authorities in Botswana have launched a manhunt for a 50-year-old Zimbabwean woman who escaped from custody at a women’s prison in Gaborone.
The escapee, Stella Sibanda, a Zimbabwean national residing in Kopong’s Mashibitlse Ward, fled from Gaborone Women Prison on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at around midday.
