Tongai Dehwa Moyo’s Mother Dies
By A Correspondent – The Moyo family has been plunged into mourning following the death of Esther Mhurai Zengeya, affectionately known as Gogo Chihera, the mother of the late sungura legend Tongai Moyo.
She passed away on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at the age of 94, bringing to a close a long life defined by resilience, wisdom and unwavering devotion to family.
