Tinashe Sambiri – Chipinge District Hospital has gone for nearly nine months without a functional X-ray machine after its only unit broke down in April, severely disrupting the delivery of critical diagnostic services.

As a result, patients requiring X-ray examinations are being turned away and referred to other health facilities, while some are forced to seek costly private services.
