Mnangagwa’s Own Birthday Now A Public Holiday
By A Correspondent|President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared his birthday a public holiday, gazetting 15 September every year as “Munhumutapa Day” through Statutory Instrument 148 of 2026.
The notice, released on Wednesday, reads: “HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT, in terms of section 2(2) of the Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act [Chapter 10:21] hereby makes the following notice”.
