By Crime and Courts Reporter-Harare regional magistrate Francis Mapfumo this week dismissed an application by Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, leader Walter Magaya, seeking to bar further postponements of his long-running rape trial or to be removed from remand.
Magistrate Mapfumo ruled that the application lacked merit. The ruling was delivered in the absence of both Magaya and his legal practitioner.
