By A Correspondent | Former Zimbabwe Farmers Union vice-president and Zanu-PF politician Edward Raradza has died aged 79, bringing to an end the life of a controversial figure who combined a prominent role in the country’s farming sector with a staunch political association with the late former president Robert Mugabe.

Raradza died in Harare on Friday evening, with his family describing his death as a shock.
