2000 Pedestrians Die In Hit And Run Accidents
By A Correspondent– Over 2,000 pedestrians were killed or injured in hit-and-run accidents across Zimbabwe in the first three months of 2026, according to the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said 2,081 pedestrians, including school children, were hit by drivers who fled the scene without stopping or reporting the crashes.
