Every year, Ramadan fills us with the scent of the good old days and nurtures us, through its days, with the sublime values of mutual aid and charity. Thus, the Ramadan basket and the organization of iftar tables everywhere are established traditions in our cities and neighborhoods.
The noble acts carried out voluntarily during this sacred month for the benefit of needy families, such as Ramadan baskets distributed to the poor and food distribution centers set up in various parts of the city, as well as the direct sale from producer to consumer facilitated by the Office of State Lands for the benefit of middle-income residents, were well received by both citizens and local and regional authorities.
Circumcision of 30 children
In addition, another humanitarian act was carried out by the regional hospital in the city. It involves the circumcision of 30 children from underprivileged families, during the period from the 1st to the 8th of April. This initiative, indeed, reflects the spirit of shared solidarity, and also sets an example of selflessness and generosity demonstrated by the medical and paramedical staff of the hospital.
