I had a recent unfortunate experience at Pick N Pay Levy Mall that I feel compelled to share. I purchased some bun rolls from the store and upon bringing them home, I made a disturbing discovery. As I opened the package, I noticed two strands of hair baked into the buns, visibly protruding from the dough.
Naturally, I was appalled by this, and immediately returned to the store with the receipt in hand to address the issue. However, to my dismay, when I requested to speak with the manager, I was rudely brushed off and informed that the manager was unavailable to see me. Instead, I was instructed to fill out a customer complaint form and leave it with the staff.
Not only was I denied the opportunity to discuss the matter with the manager, but I was also taken aback by the dismissive attitude of the staff. They casually suggested that I exchange the contaminated buns for a new batch, without any sense of urgency or concern for the unsanitary condition of the product.
Feeling thoroughly disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer care demonstrated by Pick N Pay Levy Mall, I felt compelled to voice my dissatisfaction.
As a customer, I hold the reasonable expectation that the products sold to me are free from any foreign contaminants, particularly something as egregious as hair baked into the food. This incident not only reflects poorly on the store’s quality control measures but also on their disregard for addressing customer concerns in a respectful and prompt manner.
As a loyal patron of Pick N Pay, this experience has left me with a sense of unease and disappointment. I believe that it is crucial for the management to take this matter seriously and institute measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
I hope that by bringing attention to this issue, the store can reevaluate their customer service protocols and quality assurance standards. Customers should be able to trust that the products they purchase are safe for consumption, and that their concerns will be addressed in a professional and respectful manner.
