Teachers Use Their Day To Demand US$1260 Per Month
Teachers in Zimbabwe are calling for a minimum salary of US$1,260 per month, citing the sharp depreciation of the local currency, the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG), and rising inflation that has made it difficult to afford basic necessities.
Their demands were voiced during World Teachers Day commemorations held over the weekend.
