In a recent telephone interview with ZANIS, Mr. Chiti emphasized the Foundation’s vital role in combating the trafficking of albinos and ensuring their well-being. He highlighted the importance of providing educational assistance to members to improve their quality of life and opportunities, empowering them with knowledge of their human rights.
“Our members receive educational assistance to improve their lives and opportunities, therefore ensuring that they know their human rights,” stated Mr. Chiti. The Foundation also provides free sunscreen to protect individuals with albinism against skin cancer, a condition to which they are particularly vulnerable. Additionally, the organization is actively involved in educating the public about cancer prevention measures.
The increasing incidents of human trafficking and murders of people with albinism have raised widespread concern in various sectors of society.
