Young Girls from Somaliland who have been Living in Mogadishu for 16 Months – Africa Links 24

For 16 days, young people from Somaliland have been detained in the city of Mogadishu following their arrest after the killing of the late Abdullahi Muse Dahable, who was killed in a house in the Buulaxubeey neighborhood.

These young people in detention, who are 6 in number, have not been charged with any crime so far, and their legal rights have not been respected according to the justice system.

In addition, lawmakers and government officials have also been discussing the situation of these detained youth for many days, without any resolution from the court.
