‘You want to wreck our party, cripple opposition politics’ – PDP Northern Elders to Wike

The Northern Elders Unity Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and his political allies are plotting to destroy the party and weaken opposition politics in Nigeria.

The Forum, in a communiqué issued at the end of its 18th General Meeting, reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of PDP Acting National Chairman, Iliya Umar Damagum.

The elders condemned what they described as desperate moves by certain members to derail the forthcoming National Convention scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
