Yoke Solutions golfers successfully defended their title at the 2024 Corporate Challenge Cup hosted by the Ikeja Golf Club. The team, consisting of Gbenga Ayodele, Arun Sharma, Babatunde Ojo, and Fawze Talal, earned an aggregate score of 241 over two days, securing their consecutive championship ahead of 25 other teams. Metro Apartments came in second place with an aggregate score of 236, while Krvk Agro took third place with 227.
During the prize presentation ceremony, Ikeja Golf Club Captain, Sina Akinyemi, congratulated the participants and the organizing committee, led by Competitions Secretary, Jenkins Alumona, for the successful tournament. He commended the teams for their commitment, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Chairman of Yoke Solutions, Zed Jituboh, expressed delight at the team’s consecutive victories while acknowledging the increasing competition and the need to strategize for future tournaments.
Winner Gbenga Ayodele thanked the organizing committee for a successful tournament and expressed the team’s desire to make it three consecutive victories. Vice President of Ikeja Golf Club, Babatunde Ojo, also called for support for the Integrated Range and Car Park Project, revealing that N35 million had been raised for the project so far.
The participating teams included Yoke Solutions, Flykite Productions, X3M Ideas, Metro Apartments, Krvk Agro Sacks Limited, Xpress Payment Solutions, Alpha Specialties, Alpha Pharmacy, ADL Solutions, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Justrite, ICMA Professional Services, ISO Black Concept, Oak Pensions, Adeco Project Engineers, Acutech Support Systems, Afkar Printing and Publishing Concept, Jite Projects, Q-Shop, Ubosi Eleh and Co, Heineken, 7Star Global Aviation, Nimasa and Oceanic Health.
The Ikeja Golf Club 2024 Corporate Challenge Cup was a fiercely competitive event, with Yoke Solutions emerging as the deserving champions for the second consecutive year. The event not only showcased outstanding golfing talent but also fostered camaraderie among the participating teams.
