Write your Will to save your family future disputes, Lira residents told

Dozens of people gathered under tents at Mayor’s Garden in Lira City on Thursday for a community engagement session organised by the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Lira Regional Office.

The nearly six-hour session focused on educating the public about property inheritance, the dangers of dying without a Will, and the role of the Administrator General in managing estates.

Senior State Attorney Martha Akurut said the engagement was designed to address systemic problems that arise when people die without clear legal instructions for their property.
