On March 8 and 23, 2024, the women’s teams of the Congolese subsidiaries of Africa Global Logistics (AGL) participated in two separate conferences in Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville on the themes “strengthening impact at work: tool and best practice” and “investing in favor of women, accelerating the pace”. The first conference was led by the Deloitte Congo teams: Sandrine BIBISSI – Manager C&I and Nelcy BOSSA- Trainer/Consultant. The second by Jeannette SCHUTZ – AGL Commercial Manager; Natacha BOUZINGOU – AGL Documentation Manager; Justie MOUKOUBOUKA- MSC/SAGA Congo Sales Manager and Serge BATCHI-BOUITY – Congo Terminal Planning Unit Manager.
More than 60 women working at Congo Terminal, AGL, and Terminal du Bassin du Congo (TBC), MSC/Saga Congo in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire took part in the first conference.
More than 30 women from AGL Congo took part in the second conference, which was preceded by a visit to the container terminal during which they were able to assess the impact of the investments made by the group at the Port of Pointe-Noire.
On March 15, 2024, the Regional Financial Director of AGL Maïmouna Drame Dolo, the Operations Director of Congo Terminal Sandrine Wamy, and the Deputy General Manager of Maersk Charlesse Ngangoue also led a conference initiated by the WILA Congo association (Women in Logistics-Africa) on the theme “the place of women in the transport and logistics sector”.
“Mars is an essential month for us that brings together women, they mobilize on all fronts, remind the group’s vision of equality & inclusion, share their experiences to help others go even further, in a changing world far from the barriers of the past,” says Patricia EKEY-MISSE, Regional Communication and Sustainable Development Manager of AGL Congo/RDC and Angola.
