Police in Kalungu District are investigating a double killing in which a woman was allegedly stabbed to death before an angry mob lynched the suspected attacker.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning in Kalungu.
According to SP Kasirye Twaaha, the police spokesperson for Masaka East and West regions, police received information at about 10am that Rehema Nabukeera , a tenant in the area, had been stabbed.
Police said Nabukeera was allegedly attacked by a man identified as Dan, who had reportedly gone to her residence to ask for a latrine key.
