American singer Victoria Monet and her partner, John Gaines, have confirmed their separation after years of dating.
In a joint statement released on Monday, the couple revealed that they have been separated for ten months now.
They clarified that their separation was amicable and wasn’t because of “infidelity, toxic behaviour nor drama”.
According to them, the separation was to enable them have some fundamental growth that would be best done apart, and to be the best versions of themselves for their daughter.
