VFS has secured a global contract for UK visas and citizenship services, with plans to establish 240 Visa and Citizenship Application Service (VCAS) Centres in 142 countries across various regions. These centres will cater to approximately 3.8 million applicants annually, facilitating cross-border mobility.
This achievement is notable because the contract expands VFS Global’s reach to 84 new countries for UK Visas and Citizenship Service, including Ghana, in addition to the 58 countries they already serve. Additionally, VFS Global has recently been awarded global tenders by the Swedish Ministry of Justice and the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide visa services for Sweden in 37 countries and Norway visa and residence permit services in 52 countries.
Moreover, VFS Global has renewed global visa service mandates with Latvia, Iceland, and Austria. The company also serves as the exclusive service provider to the Government of France for select locations in Sub-Saharan Africa, where they have expanded France visa services network by launching Visa Application Centres in Cape Verde, Ghana, Liberia, and Rwanda, and extended contracts in Ivory Coast and Senegal.
