Ugandan women’s rights group demands reforms in police handling of gender-based violence

A civil rights coalition has petitioned the Uganda Police Force and the Wakiso District leadership over systemic barriers and alleged police corruption that hinder survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) from obtaining justice.
