Uganda and Serbia are seeking to deepen cooperation in defence, agriculture, trade and science and technology as the two countries look to expand investment and economic ties.
The government says stronger international partnerships will support Uganda’s broader economic transformation agenda, including its ambition to grow the economy to an estimated $500 billion.
Vice President Jessica Alupo said Uganda is seeking to advance cooperation with Serbia in agriculture, security, trade and science and technology.
