The Ministry of Health has officially commissioned Uganda’s first Fistula Foundation Treatment Network (FFTN), marking a major step in expanding access to care for thousands of women living with obstetric fistula and related childbirth injuries.
Launched recently at Terrewode Women’s Community Hospital (TWCH) in Soroti City, the initiative is the sixth regional network established in Africa by the US-based organization Fistula Foundation.
