Two sons held over murder of 95-year-old mother in Kagadi

Police in Kagadi are holding two sons in connection with the suspected murder of their mother, Angela Kabagenzi, 95, a resident of Matuntu A Village, Kagadi District.

Those arrested are Peter Biija and another only identified as Isingoma, all residents of the same village.

According to police, the deceased went missing on the night of September 4, 2026 and her body was later found approximately 300 metres from her home the following day in a sugarcane plantation, with the head missing.
