The Minister of Industry highlighted that the Borj Cedria technology center was chosen for the implementation of this project because it is a space designed to host companies with a high capacity for employment and high added value with high-level technological components.
The center is also distinguished by several other features, the most important of which are simple and easy administrative procedures. According to her, this choice is also explained by its proximity to several institutions working in the field of scientific and technological research.
It also contributes to supporting scientific research, developing the knowledge economy, and creating new jobs.
Joey Hood, the U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia, stated that the cooperation between “Visteon” and Tunisia confirms the vitality of the economic partnership between Tunisia and the United States, especially since Tunisia has created in recent years a suitable business environment that has attracted foreign direct investments.
