The main areas outlined in the government’s development priorities: renewable energies, combating climate change, food security, water resource mobilization, improving the business and investment climate, and reforming state-owned enterprises.
The European Union (EU) reiterated its commitment to continue supporting the implementation of reform programs and priority development projects in Tunisia, mainly in areas of common interest, said the EU Ambassador to Tunisia, Marcus Cornaro.
During a meeting held yesterday with the Minister of Economy and Planning, Feryel Ouerghi, he added that these areas include food security, investment, employment, digitization, innovation, and support for SMEs.
Ouerghi, on her part, presented the main areas outlined in the government’s development priorities. These include renewable energies, combating climate change, food security, water resource mobilization, improving the business and investment climate, and reforming state-owned enterprises.
The two parties discussed the bilateral cooperation process as well as the activity programs for the next period.
