On Saturday, March 30th, the 45th edition of the 2024 World Cross Country Championships is taking place in Belgrade, Serbia. Originally, these championships were awarded to Croatia, but World Athletics removed the organization from them due to delays in event preparation. The international body then entrusted them to Serbia.
Fourteen Moroccan athletes are among the competitors at Belgrade. In principle, Arriyadia will broadcast these championships as the sports channel of SNRT is on the list of broadcasters for the 2024 World Cross Country Championships.
Sifan Hassan, the Ethiopian-born Dutch athlete who became a naturalized Dutch citizen in 2013 and won double Olympic gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m in Tokyo 2021, will make her debut at the World Cross Country Athletics Championships in this edition.
