The former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said the attack on his family house at Ubima, Rivers State, and the African Democratic Congress, ADC, secretariat were distractions, insisting that they were wining the 2027 elections and heading to Aso Rock.
Recall that Amaechi’s house was attacked, and the nearby ADC secretariat set ablaze by yet to be identified assailants even he kickstarted the ADC’s membership registration in the state.
The attacks occurred prior to his arrival, and subsequent attacks on his convoy.
