The last council of ministers dissolved the Kaoural International Renewal Association. The Synergy of Action for Mali expressed its anger following a statement published last Sunday.

The Synergy of Action for Mali is not happy about the dissolution of the Kaoural International Renewal Association.

The Kaoural International Renewal Association is a member of the Synergy of Action for Mali. Its dissolution weakened this brand new platform which calls on the transitional authorities to organize presidential elections to leave power.

According to a statement signed by the permanent secretary of the Synergy of Action for Mali, Youssouf Diawara, the Synergy of Action for Mali expresses its solidarity with the members and leaders of the Kaoural International Renewal Association and expresses its concern about the violations of freedom of expression and association in the country through the dissolution of political parties and associations.

“The Synergy of Action for Mali protests against these violations that deny the struggles of the Malian people for democracy and the rule of law, and urges the transitional authorities to prioritize dialogue in all circumstances,” said the general coordinator of the Coordination of Movements, Associations, and Sympathizers of Imam Mahmoud Dicko. He adds that the Synergy of Action for Mali remains confident in the ideals that support the rule of law and democracy as the only alternatives for a diverse Mali.

The brand new Kaoural for International Renewal association, dissolved by the council of ministers through the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, is one of the members of the Synergy of Action for Mali.

After the dissolution of the Kaoural for International Renewal association, the political party SADI (African Solidarity for Democracy and Independence) has been in progress for several months. The transitional government wants to dissolve the party of the former deputy of Kolondièba, Diakaridia.
