The principal administrator of the National Commission for the Reception and Reintegration of Refugees (CNARR), Mahamat Abderamane Yacoub, received a donation of cereals from the Hungarian organization Hungri Help on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

This donation is part of the project to assist and empower displaced persons in Lake Chad.

For Mahamat Abderamane Yacoub, principal administrator of CNARR, this donation will be distributed to those in need. “We want to thank Hungri Help for thinking of the displaced persons in Lake Chad during this Ramadan period. I invite other partners to follow the lead of Hungri Help for the well-being of the displaced persons. There are even internally displaced persons spread across more than 200 sites in the lake who really need support,” he said.

According to Hungarian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Istvan Nagy, the Hungri Help Chad project aims to assist people in difficult situations. “We believe that this will help these displaced persons who truly need our support. This donation is just the beginning and I hope it will not be the first or the last time,” wished Hungarian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Istvan Nagy.
