The Morocco team won the COSAFA Beach Soccer Tournament held in South Africa, after their victory in the final on Saturday against Mozambique, on penalties 4-3 (4-4 at the end of regular time).
The goals for Morocco were scored by Zouhir Jabbari, Adnan Oubahri, Badr El Kraichly, and Yasser Abada.
The Moroccan team had qualified for the final on Friday, by defeating Malawi with a score of 9 goals to 6.
Under the leadership of Oumar Sylla, the team, which was placed in Group B, won their first match 5-2 against Mozambique, before losing 3-2 against Angola. On the third day, they defeated Tanzania with a score of 2-1.
