This royal high distinction was awarded to Mr. Ould Hanani by the Ambassador of the Kingdom in Mauritania, Hamid Chabar, during a ceremony organized on Friday at the residence of Morocco in Nouakchott.

On this occasion, Mr. Chabar emphasized that this royal high distinction is a sign of recognition and appreciation for the work accomplished by Mr. Hanani during his successful diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.

He also praised the quality of the multidimensional bilateral relations between Morocco and Mauritania, based on mutual respect and serious and fruitful cooperation, under the enlightened leadership of the leaders of both countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, aspiring to a beneficial strategic partnership for the Moroccan and Mauritanian peoples.

For his part, Mr. Ould Hanani expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for this high distinction that the Sovereign graciously bestowed upon him, recalling that his mission at the head of the diplomatic representation in Morocco focused on strengthening bilateral relations in various political, economic, social, and cultural aspects.

He added that his mission as the Ambassador of Mauritania to Morocco unfolded under the best conditions thanks to the support and availability of the Moroccan authorities, noting that Moroccan-Mauritanian relations are destined for a bright future, as desired by the leaders of both countries.

The presentation of this royal high distinction to the former Mauritanian ambassador in Rabat took place in the presence of several personalities.
