During a press conference held by the President of the National Elections Management Agency, Mr. Ahmed Barshirite, today, he announced the timetable for the first round of the presidential elections in Chad, marking the beginning of the electoral process for a quick return to constitutional order in the country as determined by the transitional authorities in the country.

In his speech, Ahmed Barshirite referred to the political context in Chad, characterized by the transitional period that began after the death of Marshal Idriss Deby Itno in April 2021, and discussed the upcoming stages, especially the organization of presidential, legislative, and local elections for the return to constitutional order.
