Morocco continues to be highly sought after by African football federations for their friendly matches and for the preparation of their national teams.
The DRC, the latest to do so, will face the Lions of Teranga in June as part of the 3rd round of qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Currently in 3rd place in Group B with 3 points, just behind Senegal and Sudan who have 4 points each, they have chosen Morocco to prepare for this important match for the rest of the Leopards’ journey.
The announcement was made by the Congolese Sports Minister himself.
The incidents that followed the last Morocco – DRC match during the recent AFCON are now just a bad memory.
