The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has set the terms for the decisive double confrontation between Morocco and Zambia in the qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Information regarding the dates, locations, times, and referees has been released by the FRMF through a statement published on its official website on Monday, March 11th.
The global football governing body has set the dates for this double confrontation on April 5th and April 9th, 2024. “The first leg will be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia, starting at 7:00 PM, while the second leg will take place at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat, starting at 10:00 PM,” it was stated.
“The FIFA has also appointed the refereeing team for both matches. The first leg will be officiated by Cameroonian referee Guimbang A Etong Aline Marie, assisted by her compatriot Atezambong Fomo Carine, and Malian Kone Fanta Idrissa. The second leg will be led by Rwandan referee Mukansanga Salima Rhadia, assisted by Bangurambona Fides from Burundi, and Umutesi Alice from Rwanda,” it was specified.
It should be noted that the Lionesses of the Atlas defeated Tunisia in the previous round in both matches (1-2 in the first leg in Soliman, southeast of Tunis, and 4-1 in the second leg in Rabat, with a total score of 6-2).
