In a statement released this Friday, CFAO Mobility in Morocco announced that it has partnered with OMODA and JAECOO, a leading international automotive manufacturer that offers innovative vehicles tailored to the Moroccan market. Both brands place innovation and technology at the heart of their development strategy, targeting an urban and connected audience with a preference for new designs.
Under this agreement, OMODA 3, OMODA 5, JAECOO 7 vehicles will be distributed in the coming months, along with the electric model OMODA 5 EV. Additionally, a dedicated showroom will be opened on the Corniche in Casablanca by the end of the first semester of 2024.
Quoted in the statement, Laurent Genet, General Manager of CFAO Mobility in Morocco, stated: “As a key player in vehicle distribution, our commitment is to establish partnerships with the leading international brands.” He added: “In Morocco, we see a strong demand from our customers for high-tech vehicles. This new showroom in Casablanca will be the best showcase for this.”
After two challenging years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Moroccan automotive market has shown resilience and is now adapting to new challenges such as hybridization of engines and the arrival of electric vehicles. In 2023, over 160,000 new vehicles were sold in Morocco.
