Burkina Anti-Terrorism Support
The Burkina Faso Ambassador to the Vatican, Régis Kévin Bakyono, has stated that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his latest book titled “Signature” will be donated to the government to support the Patriotic Support Fund.
Ambassador Bakyono presented his third book, “Signature,” to the Minister of State for Communication, Culture, Arts, and Tourism on March 7th. He mentioned that a part of the sales revenue will be allocated to the Patriotic Support Fund in solidarity with the country’s security and defense forces.
The book is a collection of short stories and serves as an “invitation to personal and collective responsibility,” according to the same source.
“If you see a just fight, get involved,” the author said during the dedication ceremony of his work on February 29th.
Régis Kévin Bakyono was appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Vatican on January 11, 2023. He is also the author of two other books, with the first being a collection of seven short stories titled “What if the Victim Became the Judge!” published in 2014 by Afrolivres.
