A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima, has described allegations linking former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso to terrorism as politically motivated.
Galadima claimed the allegations are aimed at neutralizing his potential presidential or vice-presidential ambition in 2027.
DAILY POST reports that Kwankwaso has reportedly been targeted for sanctions under legislation introduced by the US Congress over his alleged role in promulgating Sharia law in Kano State.
