Uganda has, over the last five years, registered major milestones in Science, Technology and Innovation.
Some of those have been in the development of the e-mobility ecosystem, where more than 80 actors in the e-mobility value chain are involved in the production of electric vehicles, vehicle parts and components, including electric buses, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, brake pads; lithium-ion battery packs; auxiliary batteries; tyres and tubes; automotive paints; air, oil and fuel cleaners; automotive lubricants; fasteners; wipers; side mirrors; and lights.
