The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, has cautioned Muslim leaders in West Nile against registering mosques for personal gain, including ownership of Saccos.  
Speaking during the launch of Halaal farmer’s centres in Arua, Koboko, Yumbe,  Moyo and Adjumani  districts, Sheikh Mubaje said mosques are properties of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council and should not be used to serve individual interests.
