Speaker of the Somaliland Parliament meets with the Minister of Fisheries of Wales – Africa Links 24

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Somaliland, Mr. Prof Yaasiin Madamuud Xiir (Faratoon), yesterday held a meeting with the newly elected 1st Minister of Wales, Mr. Vaughan Gething who recently took over the leadership of the country within the United Kingdom.

The meeting between the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Somaliland and the First Minister of Wales discussed the relationship between Wales UK and Somaliland, focusing on areas where Somaliland and Wales UK can cooperate.

Also, the Speaker congratulated him on his recent appointment.

The meeting was also attended by Member of Parliament Siciid Ibraahim and the Chairman of the Somaliland Community in Wales Mr. Siciid Ibraahim.
