A teacher at Soroti Secondary School in Soroti City was, on Martyrs Day, knocked dead by a speeding vehicle at Aoya B Village, Abalang Parish, Oriamo Sub-County along the Soroti-Lira highway.
The deceased, identified as Joseph Angai, 48, a resident of Oriamo Sub-County in Kaberamaido District, was riding a bicycle when the vehicle travelling from Soroti City towards Lira City crashed into him.
