Soroti Catholic Diocese has called for a three-day prayer and fast over increased road carnage.
Last Tuesday, the diocese woke up to news of a fatal crash that claimed the life of Fr Romanus Etwap in the heart of Soroti City as he drove back to Immaculate Conception Cathedral.
Fr Aloysius Gonzaga Ongereny Waziwazi, the Diocesan Chancellor, made the appeal on Monday, September 7, during the Requiem Mass of Fr Etwap, 54, at St Patrick Madera Catholic Church.
