Speaking on this occasion, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, emphasized the importance of this partnership agreement which is part of the diversification of partners and the improvement of the Kingdom’s industrial system.

In this regard, the Minister mentioned that it is the first time that a German investor specializing in fastening technologies and assembly and logistics solutions has settled in Morocco, noting that this will further strengthen our country’s industrial sovereignty.

For his part, the president of Midparc, Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi, welcomed the Böllhoff Group to Morocco, stating that Germany is establishing itself at Midparc, following the Spanish aerospace group Aciturri and the Canadian company Shimco.

“The choice of Böllhoff to settle at Midparc is motivated by the performance of the business model it offers, allowing it to co-locate a part of its production in Morocco, especially in the face of the strong demand addressed to the Kingdom,” said Mr. Benbrahim El Andaloussi.

He continued that the presence of Böllhoff in Morocco with its “differentiating technologies” will further strengthen the robustness and durability of the Moroccan industrial ecosystem, and contribute to the country’s industrial sovereignty.

On his part, the co-director of Böllhoff Group, Michael W. Böllhoff, highlighted the relevance of this partnership agreement signed with Midparc, expressing his company’s ambition to invest more in Morocco, hire more people, and expand its activities over the next 5 years.

Specialized in the integration of 360° fastening technology with assembly and logistics solutions, the Böllhoff Group has 43 sites in 25 countries and on 5 continents. The Group produces more than 18 million assembly elements per day at a total of 13 production sites and employs around 1,500 people in Germany, 1,100 in the rest of Europe, 400 in Asia, and America.

As a reference industrial zone in Morocco, Midparc already houses several international companies, such as Boeing and Stelia Maroc. It offers exceptional and unique logistical position at the gates of Europe and Africa.
