Shallipopi vows to boycott next Headies after organizers fail to present plaque for award he won

Nigerian singer, Shallipopi has vowed to boycott subsequent editions of the premier Afrobeats award, The Headies, after having an embarrassing moment at the 17th edition in Lagos on Sunday.

Shallipopi, who lost the keenly contested Next Rated category to his frequent collaborator, Odumodublvck, thought he had gotten a consolation when his song ‘Cast’ was announced as the winner of the Best Rap Single of the Year.
