Police have arrested seven suspects in connection with the murder of Patricia Kairu, a student of Kampala International University (KIU), last month.
Kairu’s body was discovered on August 4, 2026, in Kiyanja Cell, Nabbingo Ward in Waksio District, after she was allegedly murdered under circumstances that police are still investigating.
The first suspect was picked up from Kiyanja on September 3 after detectives established that he had arranged to meet Kairu in Kyengera on the day she was reportedly killed.
