Sessimè: Beninese diva shares a confession about her father, 01 year after his death

The famous Beninese singer Sessimè never misses an opportunity to share memories of her late father. She did so again on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in a post on her Facebook page.

The Beninese music diva Christelle Bidossessi Guedou, known professionally as Sessimè, has once again revealed a conversation she had with her father a few days before his passing. She shared this in a comment on one of her posts on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

“I remember my father’s smile when I went to see him a few days before his passing, all worried that something might happen to me and my baby as my belly was getting bigger and starting to show when I went to work… He was proud to see his daughter, who had been called barren for years, finally expecting a princess ‘don’t worry my daughter, she will be fine and you will give birth without any problems by the grace of God and your ancestors’ and he added ‘and I won’t go anywhere before holding her in my arms, I will stay with you for a good while by the grace of God’… I was reassured, calm and confident, but God had other plans… He left before she came into the world and today it is a joy to see her taking on his features ? everything is grace rest in peace granddad Juste,” wrote Sessimè.

As a reminder, the singer’s father passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 after an illness.
