On March 24, 2024 should not resemble any other day in Senegal. It will be about sweeping away the most cowardly, criminal, and kleptocratic system that a developing country can know, but it will also be about entrusting the reins to those who have demonstrated enough courage and love for Senegal. Indeed, on March 24, 2024, on one side it will be:
1. Sweeping away those who commissioned the killing of our 85 martyrs, those who armed the killers, those who gave orders to the security forces and APR militias to commit this massacre, those who protected them after their crimes, those who proposed or voted for amnesty for these killers and their sponsors.
2. Sweeping away those who persecuted, injured, tortured, maimed, or blinded more than 4500 of our young compatriots who were fighting for our freedom to choose, those who threw nearly 3000 of them in prison.
3. Sweeping away these cartel leaders, delinquent ministers, high-ranking officials, prosecutors, examining magistrates who fabricated false charges against our patriotic youth in order to imprison them for up to 3 years for some.
4. Sweeping away these Ministers, DGs, PCAs, SGs, eternal grand thieves, kleptomaniacs who steal even more when blood flows or when corpses pile up as in times of war against Covid.
5. Sweeping away those who knowingly appoint all these thieves, those who encourage them to steal, those who protect them with their elbows, those who sign promotions for publicly identified thieves.
6. Sweeping away these journalists, media bosses, columnists, pseudo-analysts, corrupt to the core, eternal arsonists, manufacturers of lies, accomplices of thieves and killers.
7. Sweeping away this vile and corrupt civil society that becomes an accomplice to all these violations of freedoms, all these crimes, all these manipulations, all these violations of the law, all these arbitrary arrests, all these judicial conspiracies, all these state lies.
8. Sweeping away these unscrupulous magistrates who mount and execute these judicial cabals against non-compliant opponents, activists, conscience-awakeners, and honest journalists.
9. Sweeping away these ill-freed, complex, servile to France, promoters of Françafrique and the plundering of our resources to foreign powers.
10. Sweeping away politicians who make treachery, betrayal, double-talk, tortuosity, self-absorption, and versatility a strategy for conquest or retention of power. Sweeping away all these old bloodsuckers who have never had enough from the Senghor era to the present day.
11. Sweeping away those who claim to be experienced, after stealing over 20,000 billion from poor taxpayers, tripling unemployment, pushing Senegal back 15 places in the global HDI, 35 places in RSF, increasing poverty, quintupling the inflation rate, etc… and pushing nearly 30,000 of our young compatriots to prefer to risk their lives in the middle of the oceans.
On the other hand, on March 24, 2024, it will be about:
1. Entrusting the management of our resources to those who have proven their selflessness, integrity, and patriotism.
2. Entrusting the destiny of our nation to those who have not hesitated to sacrifice themselves, to sacrifice everything they have to protect this nation, to preserve our democratic achievements.
3. Giving our votes to those who have paid the heaviest price for the preservation of Senegal, while others feigned or plotted.
The choice is simple. Let him who has ears hear.
