Aware that as of April 2, there will no longer be a possibility to delay the process, they want to self-amnesty by force. The intention to organize the election after April 2 is a carefully orchestrated plan for them to have a transition. And this transitional period will be used by the criminals to leave the country.
To the patriotic brothers and sisters, we all want the release of President Ousmane SONKO, candidate Bassirou Diomay FAYE, and all political prisoners, but let us know that they do not need to be granted amnesty to be released. I also do not see how innocent people who have been unjustly imprisoned, not tried or convicted, will benefit from an amnesty law.
All these innocent people are in prison solely by the will of a political-judicial mafia that wanted to seize power. Faced with the refusal and determination of the Senegalese people, they have realized that it is over and that the loss of power is inevitable, hence the urgent need to erase all crimes before leaving and to save their skins.
Suddenly, the executioners of yesterday want to transform into peace angels and clumsily begin a strategy of blackmailing patriots to push them to agree to a dialogue deal at the price of the release of political hostages including President Ousmane SONKO and candidate Bassirou Diomaye FAYE. These are the wolves in sheep’s clothing mentioned by PROS, so we must be wary of them.
It is about “Ousmane SONKO, if you want to participate in our dialogue deal to grant us amnesty and erase our crimes, we will release you. In fact, to prove our good faith, we will release Hannibal, Toussaint, Djamil, Boucal, Falilou, Bilal, etc., and keep some in prison until you agree. But if you refuse to participate in the dialogue deal, we will keep you in prison until we self-amnesty.” That is the truth of the matter.
The attempt to blackmail President Ousmane SONKO by dangling the release of certain detainees, especially the most famous ones, in order to push him to participate in the political deal at the cost of his freedom, has miserably failed. Knowing the man, he always remains anchored in democratic principles and values of ethics, morality, and dignity, and refuses any compromise even in difficult times.
So dear patriots, let us never fall into the trap of amnesty that does not concern us in any way. The release of Ousmane SONKO, Bassirou D. FAYE, and all detainees is imminent, it only depends on a “DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE” that he refuses to accept.
Let us remain attentive to the Constitutional Council and continue to commune with the Senegalese people for the triumph of the “PROJECT.”
