The National Consultation Commission on the Lunar Crescent (CONACOC) has released an official statement announcing its upcoming meeting. Scheduled for Monday, March 11, 2024, this meeting will take place at the premises of RTS (Senegalese Broadcasting Corporation) on the 29th day of the month of Shâabane.
In full, the CONACOC statement reads:
“The National Consultation Commission on the Lunar Crescent will meet on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the RTS premises corresponding to the 29th day of the month of SHÂABANE marking the end of the month of BARAXLUO and determining the 1st day of the month RAMADAN (KOOR).
The Commission invites all Muslims to observe with it the appearance of the lunar crescent and to communicate the result to it by phone at the following numbers: 33 849 12 48 / 33 822 48 68 / 77 630 01 83.
